If you are concerned your wife has an eating disorder, depression, or is simply going through a difficult time, sharing your honest feelings is an important way to help. When confronting your wife, it is important to express love and concern, share, listen, and be committed to helping her through the problem.

It is also important to know what professional help and resources are available so you can ensure your wife gets the help that she needs. Below is a list of links to community and campus resources:

 

BYU Comprehensive Clinic
Serves BYU students, faculty, staff at no cost, as well as the community on a sliding fee scale

BYU Counseling & Career Center
Serves BYU students for no additional fees

Wasatch Mental Health
A comprehensive community mental health center that offers an array of programs and services for children, teens, and adults

The Gathering Place
Treatment facility dealing with addictions for children, youth, men and women

Family Support & Treatment Center
Serves the community by helping children and families build stronger and healthier relationships 

LDS Social Services
Provides adoption services, counseling, and addiction recovery programs, among other services. Often available with financial aid from your bishop.
