Women's Services and Resources welcomes you to Brigham Young University. We understand the anxiety that accompanies the great step you are taking as you enter our campus and the world of higher education. We are here to serve you. We hope that you will feel free to come to us with your concerns. We will do our best to help you find answers to your questions, calm your fears, and gain confidence in yourself as a student.

Many women and men entering college for the first time or returning after an interruption in their education wonder if they can succeed. Our experience and records show that you can, but you need not do it alone. One of the most important things to realize as a reentry student is that there are services and resources available to aid you in your quest for gaining a higher education.

We have written this booklet with you in mind. Please read it and use it as a resource guide. You might become aware of some things that you didn't even know that you needed or discover resources that you did not know were available. This booklet will acquaint you with the services on campus, provide information concerning resources available in the community, and inform you about where and how to obtain financial aid. We have attempted to give you the most current information available, but because BYU and the surrounding communities are subject to change, the information in this booklet may also change. Therefore, it would be wise to call and verify the information that interests you.
