This office provides information for on campus family housing for married couples, single parents, and their children.  There are a limited number of apartments; therefore, we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.

 

Off-Campus Housing

The BYU Off-Campus Housing Office provides a “Renter’s Guide” to help students find university-approved housing off campus.  In addition, detailed information about current vacancies is available outside the office door.  Vacancy lists are updated daily.  Online you can view vacancies, contracts for sale, comparative data for off-campus housing, as well as general off-campus housing info.  Housing counselors are available in the office to help if you have exceptional problems finding suitable off-campus housing.  This office also provides mediation services in the event that a housing dispute occurs.

Offers homebuyer education and mortgage assistance.  Emergency shelter and housing services provided.  Gas and electric bill assistance also supplied.

 

Utah County Housing Authority

Provides housing assistance.  Has a waiting list for housing outside Provo but in Utah County.  Gives preference to married couples, those with small children, those with disabilities, and the elderly. Also offers weatherization assistance.

Open Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm.  They have a wait list (wait is one to ten months) for apartments, duplexes, homes with 2 to 4 bedrooms.  You must have a social security card for each family member in order to apply and 30% of your income goes towards rent.

Provides information about government loan-to-own programs as well as renovating your home and making repairs.  Housing Improvement Program grants a 3% interest loan for home repairs up to $15,000.
