Perfectionists Anonymous - Overcoming the Perfect Woman Syndrome

Can you relate to any of the following?

  • Whatever I do, there is always a voice inside me saying, 'Not enough. I'm not enough'.
  • There's not much joy in what I do...always trying to prove myself to exhaustion.
  • What's the point of trying to accomplish anything?  I'll always come up short.
  • I always feel as if everyone else knows something I don't know - It's as if I were born missing something everyone else has.  If others do not approve of me, then I am not OK.
  • My value is based on my achievements and accomplishments.

If you've ever had any of these thoughts or struggled with feelings of inadequacy, insecurity, self-doubt, guilt, and fear of full participation in life - this group is for you.  To sum it up, perfectionists believe that unless they are perfect, success and love will evade them.  The biggest cost of perfectionism is your neglect of your spiritual self and your failure to claim a life in alignment with your true self.

During this group, you will learn to escape the tyranny of perfectionism by coming to understand and challenge the underlying beliefs that drive you to get things "just right."  You will learn to focus on your strengths and all that is right with you, instead of trying to fix every seemingly imperfect thing.
