Averi was raised in South Jordan, Utah with her four siblings and parents. She attended Utah Valley University, where she played softball her freshman year, before serving a mission in Belgium and The Netherlands. Averi later transferred to Brigham Young University as a dietetics major and is currently in her senior year. She plans to pursue a master's degree after graduation with the goal of becoming a registered dietitian. In her free time, Averi loves playing sports, hiking, swimming, spending time with family, and planning road trips.
