Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) raises awareness of sexual assault, teaches students how to lower their risk of being assaulted, educates students - male and female – on their role in bystander intervention, and assists those who have been impacted by sexual assault by directing them to campus and community resources. This campaign is held every April during National Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
